Is It Possible To Freeze PET Plus?

Updated On 07-Feb-2021 By Dr. Susanna

I buy PET Plus for my cat. I wondered if it is possible to freeze PET Plus? The reason I ask is that does not use it all in 4 months.

What a great idea! Yes, freeze it. The enzymes will be fine, most of the probiotics will also be fine. I thought that those two would be the most susceptible to freezing damage, but it seems that even these will be largely unaffected.

The other option is to give your cat more! At 1/4 tsp, a pot shouldn't last much more than 4 months ... although I often hear the same comment. I will add this to the label in future. Great idea.
